The Biocycle Waste Water Treatment V6 sprint team had a very busy Saturday the 22ND. First stop was the Baa Moo Oink Butches on Findon Road for a display and sausage sizzle. The V6 Sprints had organised a display to promote the V6 Sprint Challenge series in front of one of the many series sponsors. The Green Machine was on display along with Lee Payne and Richard Carvel. The day was a success with coming and going of a lot of people. A few kids had a sit in the cars and got posters from the drivers. The sausage sizzle was a success also rasing money for the series.

The Biocycle Waste Water Treatment V6 Sprint Team travelled up to Broken Hill on the New South Wales border for the 2nd Round of the V6 Sprint Challenge Series. We didn’t really have much expectation as we had never been there. The main goal of the weekend was to get some good points in the heat races and get a good start in the feature. My draws for the night weren’t the best but I was only hoping to go forward or hold my position. I had drawn a 5th in my first heat and a 9th in my second heat.

Hi everyone, Kate Wiese here, this will be my season launch and race report from our first meetings. The team and I had no rest over the off season; we decide that we would strip the car to a bare chassis and give the car a fresh paint job and the chassis a well deserved new coat of Cherry Red. On top of all this work we decide to build a new engine from scratch.

The Biocycle Rinkin Motorsport have nominated for this weekends 2nd annual running of the World 40 Lap Derby. The team returns to defend the Legends Race feature win it captured last year. Ben will be running the N69 machine, which is a Breka chassis and Hawk engine. His usual ride the green machine (Stealth/Ed Pink Ford) is receiving an engine freshen and was not available for this weekends competition. "The car is basically the one I raced all last season and we had some good results. Last years World Derby was my first meeting in the now Green Machine and we took out the feature win on night one. Hopefully we can repeat the dose this year" Ben stated.

On the 25th of November the ‘State Diesel Repairs, BioCylce SA #9 V6 sprint team’ made its way up to Murray Bridge Speedway. It was a bit strange because it was a Sunday afternoon but the weather was fine and we were going to have a good night of racing. The 25th was our Riverview V6 Sprint track championship. This was set to be a great night of racing with a line up of 11 cars turning out for the championship.

The 10th of November presented a long awaited milestone for the Biocycle Rinkin Motorsport Team (N70)… a podium finish in the Speedcar Super Series. A result not to be taken for grated considering it had been 3 years in the making.

This Saturday night (13/10/07) the Biocycle Wiese Rinkin Motorsport Team will kick-off its season at the opening meeting of the year for the SANSW at Parramatta City Raceway. Last season Ben Wiese and Rinkin Motorsport (Mike and Gina Rinkin) joined forces for the Speedcar Super Series. A deal which was done at the last moment before the season kicked off. After a tough start to the season the team worked well together and after some good results, the season ended with a victory in the inaugural running of the World Derby Legends Race.
