On Saturday the 13th of February the Biocycle Waste Water Treatment SA9 Lighting Sprint team made their way just up the Freeway to the Murray Bridge Speedway, for the Des James Memorial. The weather conditions were good for racing. The format for the night was two 8 lap heats and a 20 lap A-main feature race to finish the night off.

On Saturday the 30th of January the Biocycle Waste Water Treatment SA9 Lighting Sprint team made their way down to the Dukes Highway to the Tolmer Bordertown Speedway, for the Third round of the Smithfield Crash Repairs Lighting Sprint Challenge Series. The weather was very hot for racing. The format for the night was two 12 lap heats and 4 lap dash for top four points for the night and a 15 lap A-main feature race to finish the night off.

On Saturday the 2nd of January the Biocycle Waste Water Treatment SA9 Lighting Sprint team made their way to Renmark Speedway, for the State Title. Kate and the team were hoping for a good meeting. The state title would be held over 3 heat races each and a 25 lap A-main feature.

On Saturday the 12th of December the Biocycle Waste Water Treatment SA9 Lighting Sprint team made their way to Murray Bridge Speedway, for the Second round of the Smithfield Crash Repairs Lighting Sprint Challenge Series. It was a good weather for racing. The Lighting sprints had an awesome field of 17 cars to contest the meeting. The format for the night was two 12 lap heats, an 8 lap dash for top eight points for the night and a 20 lap A-main feature race to finish the night off.

On Saturday the 28th of November the Biocycle Waste Water Treatment SA9 Lighting Sprint team made their way to Murray Bridge Speedway, for the Second round of the Track Points. It was a very wet day which was on the border of cancelling the race meeting all together. The Murray Bridge Speedway push though to get the meet under way. The Lighting sprints contested a twin feature format, which meant they would have two 15 lap races.

On Saturday the 24th of October the Biocycle Waste Water Treatment SA9 Lighting Sprint team made their way to Murray Bridge Speedway, for the first round of the Track Points. It was a cool day and the team was ready for action for the first meeting of the year at Murray Bridge.

On Saturday the 17th of October the Biocycle Waste Water Treatment SA9 Lighting Sprint team made their way to Renmark Speedway, for the first round of the ‘Lightning Sprints SA Smithfield Crash Repairs Challenge Series.’ It was a cool day and the team was ready for action for the first meeting of the year.

Tuesday December 9, 2008.
The Biocycle Waste Water Treatments V6 sprint team made there way up to the Renmark Speedway for the 4th Round of the V6 Sprint Challenge series. The weather was not looking promising as it rained a lot of the trip up the Riverland. The Team were looking forward to re-building the confidence that had been lost over the past couple of rounds. The crew worked hard though out the week on getting the car repaired from the mishap in the last round at Mt. Gambier. Kate really needed to get some confidence back under the belts. The team felt it would be best to push to get the car ready for this round.

Thursday December 4, 2008.
The Biocycle Waste Water Treatment V6 Sprint team made the 435km journey to Borderline Speedway in Mt Gambier for the 3rd Round of the V6 sprint Challenges series. The team had high expectation of the meeting as they new the track would be great to race on. Kate felt confident with the surface as in was quite similar to The Murray Bridge Speedway. Over the past few weeks the team had been building up another spare top wing to take away with them. The new wing is mounted on the top of the trailer.
